What’s the best excuse to play dress up? A photo shoot, of course! This shoot was particularly special for us because we had the opportunity to collaborate with some amazing vendors, all of whom truly inspire us.
This shoot was centered around portraying a bride’s relaxed, natural beauty, while still emphasizing femininity. Naturally, wedding separates were the way to go! Our lovely model is styled in two different ensembles, both original Priscilla Costa designs. First is our “Graceful Skirt”, a gathered skirt made of silk chiffon and silk twill/bamboo. It’s paired with our French Guipure lace top. This darling combination is the epitome of relaxed, classic beauty, and yet the separates aspect makes the look very current.
The next ensemble features our “Dazzling Skirt”, a pleated, layered, high-low skirt made of silk organza and silk taffeta. This piece definitely adds a touch of glamour, especially when it’s paired with our “Modish Bustier”, a bodysuit top made of jersey cotton and French Alençon, with a cotton bobbinete. These two pieces are a match made in heaven, a truly glamorous take on the separates trend. The best part about all of these original designs is that they are completely customizable! From the length to the color, these creations can be altered to your individual style.
The ladies we worked with on this shoot added their own personal touches to make the end results absolutely beautiful. Each of these women helped to make the shoot fun and memorable. From Amy Campbell’s stunning photography, to Brianna Amantia’s fabulous makeup–everything was perfection. One of the vendors we had the pleasure of working with is a dear friend of Priscilla for over ten years, Jenna Rayesky. Jenna created all of the stunning floral arrangements and table settings for this shoot.
Jenna and Priscilla became friends back when Jenna worked at her mother’s boutique, Erdon (formerly Prima Donna). This shop is the absolute go to for chic, high-end pieces for your wardrobe. They carry a carefully curated collection of pieces from European, Japanese, and American designers. With a mother who owns such a cool boutique, it’s no wonder Jenna inherited the creativity gene! And she now channels that creative energy into her stunning floral arrangements. She started off making arrangements for friends, and after receiving rave reviews she decided to start her own business, Jenna Rayesky Event Co. “Jenna is incredibly creative, and one of the sweetest, most genuine people I know,” Priscilla says. It was a pleasure to work with Jenna and the other amazing vendors. It’s a beautiful thing when friends are able to collaborate and create something as wonderful as this shoot!
